Gary A. L'Europa MD, FASH has been treating complex headache patients since 1987. He is a graduate of The Brown University Alpert Medical School, completed his internship at Roger Williams Hospital and fulfilled his neurology training at UMass Medical Center. He is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Psychiatry and Neurology in Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology and Headache Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Headache Society, Physician Advisor to the National Headache Foundation Support Group.
In 1990 he founded NeuroHealth, a comprehensive, multidisciplinary medical center specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders where he serves as director. His medical staff includes four Specialized Nurse Practioners, Physical Therapists, a Behavioral Therapist and a Neuropsychologist. Together, they treat more headache patients than any other center in New England.
Dr L'Europa has been selected multiple times by his peers as a Top Doc in Rhode Island Monthly’s biannual survey. He is the past president of the Rhode Island Neurological Society, the Rhode Island Neurological Association, the Kent County Medical Society and currently serves on The Rhode Island Department of Health Board of Medical Review and Discipline.
